UNDISPUTEDLY, the Covid 19 pandemic over the past two years has been held in check by our great NHS professionals.
Without which many patients would have lost their lives as our heroes are being run ragged serving the public.
But in the new year’s honours, only thirty nursing professionals have been recognised.
Surely, given the outstanding circumstances, the government could have at least rolled out something on par with a campaign medal for all NHS workers.
These people have put themselves and members of their families at risk of infection in the line of duty.
We owe a great debt of gratitude towards them.
