WITH an average property price growth of six per cent, if you live in one of these five areas then you might just be quids in. 

Earlier this month Bournemouth was named as the most in-demand seaside hotspot for buyers in 2021 which in turn saw asking prices across the region sky-rocket.

The areas that have seen the biggest increase in average asking price this year are: 

  • Branksome Park

The stunning, leafy suburb of Branksome Park is just a stone's throw from the blue-flag beaches and is home to some of the biggest and most luxurious homes in the conurbation. 

With a whopping increase of seven per cent in the last 12 months, asking prices in Branksome Park have gone from an average of £597,417 to £636,448 - making it the area which saw the most growth between 2020 and 2021.

  • Northbourne

Northbourne saw the second largest growth in the last year with the asking price of properties increasing by an average of six per cent.

This saw the average property increase from £318,803 to £339,402 - an average increase of more than £20,000.

  • Highcliffe

Whereas in Highcliffe, the average property asking price increased by a stellar £26,000.

The asking price in Highcliffe grew by six percent between 2020 and 2021, going from an average of £416,576 to £442,929.  

  • Upton

The picturesque town of Upton saw the fourth biggest increase in the last twelve months.

With another huge increase of six per cent in the last year, asking prices in Upton have gone from an average of £305,608 to £324,911.

  • Southbourne

Ever-popular Southbourne saw a similar trend, with the average asking price of properties increasing by six per cent.

This means that the average asking price went from £377,889 in 2020 to £401,733 in 2021.
