Hundreds of Covid vaccine appointments have been released to book at Poole Ferry Port this weekend.

The Adam Practice at Poole posted on their Facebook page to say there would be a clinic at the port on Saturday December 18 and Sunday December 19.

There are 2,200 additional Covid Vaccine appointments available.

Patients can book by calling 119 or online at www.nhs.uk.

A spokesperson said: "Thank you to all our amazing vaccinators, administration staff and volunteers who have stepped forward to provide these clinics. More appointments will be added next week once staffing is confirmed.

It comes as eight new vaccination sites and extended opening hours will be operating across jab clinics in Dorset as the health and care system ramps up its booster programme.

Dorset’s two current vaccination centres – at King’s Park Hospital, Bournemouth and Vespasian House, Dorchester – have also extended their hours to offer more appointments with the aim of being open from 8am to 8pm seven days a week.
