A FIRE in the early hours of Sunday morning which damaged two vehicles, is believed to have been 'started deliberately'.

Firefighters from Wimborne Fire Station were called to a vehicle fire at 5.21am on December 5 in Leigh Gardens, Wimborne.

Two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire, which also damaged a second vehicle.

Shortly after firefighters attended the scene, Dorset Police received a report from the fire service at 5.37am.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "There were no reports of any injuries.

"Enquiries are underway to establish the cause of the fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately.

"No arrests have been made."
