THE CAST of a popular pantomime set to return to Southbourne in January has been announced.
Members of the All Saints Dramatic Society in Southbourne are 'delighted' to be back treading the boards after 18 months of lockdown.
In September they successfully presented Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ at the De La Salle Theatre and now they’re well into rehearsals for their pantomime.
Cinderella will be performed at the Corpus Christi Centre in Parkwood Road from January 7 to 9 and 13 to 16. Evening performances at 7.30pm with four matinees at 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Cinderella will be played by Renee Claude, the Fairy Godmother by Jenni French, Prince Charming by Marcie Pearce with Maria Hood as Dandini.
Director and chair of All Saints John Sivewright said: “It’s a really great feeling to be back in business again. The panto auditions were really well attended and we have been delighted to welcome quite a number of new members in the cast. We’re all enjoying being back in rehearsal for our big show for all the family.”
