A MAN will have to pay more than £1,000 after failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

Timothy Jack Parsons, 36, of Bisterne Ringwood, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen at West Hampshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 22.

On March 28, Parson was required to provide a sample of breath in Ower, Hampshire, but failed without reasonable excuse.

Magistrates fined him £900 for the offence and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £90.

He was also ordered to pay costs of £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Parsons was then banned from driving for three years.
