Lockdowns, freedom, new variants and life relatively normal.
It's another challenging year, with the pandemic still rumbling on and rules on mask wearing updated.
But, we want to celebrate and honour those in Dorset who have made a difference in their community in 2021, whether that be on the frontline or in your neighbourhood.
Once again there's been a countless number of people who have been going out of their way to help in our local communities.
Whether it has been your neighbour volunteering to walk your dog while you work, a family member working on the frontline, or a local resident fundraising, we want to hear who your Dorset hero is and why.
We want to celebrate these people, the people who have gone above and beyond during this tumultuous and unprecedented year.
To nominate your Dorset hero, nominate them below and help us recognise those who deserve it.
