Back in November 1980 the annual autumn fair was held at St Peter’s Church, Parkstone, to raise money towards the general running cost of the church which were around £16,000 a year.
Pictured are the local Scouts with their stall with other stalls run by the Brownies and Guides.
Judging of the fancy-dress parade was overseen by Poole’s Mayoress at the time Mrs Phyl Harris who handed out prizes to the winners.
