A MAN has been hit with a court bill of more than £600 after he travelled on a train without paying a £10.20 fare.
Kamil Rabiego, aged 33 and of Manor Road, Bournemouth, was convicted by Reading Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 19.
The court heard that Rabiego travelled on a Great Western Railway service at Slough without having previously paid his fare and with intent to avoid payment on May 18.
The case against the defendant was proved with him not present in court.
Magistrates issued Rabiego with a £440 fine and ordered him to pay £10.20 compensation, a £44 surcharge and £180 costs.
