A BOURNEMOUTH will close for more than two weeks in December to allow for development work.

Moorside Road will close from December 6 to all vehicles while BCP Council carries out the works.

A public notice from the council said the road would be closed, including no parking, waiting or loading, from the property boundary of numbers 90 to 92 to number 98.

It will be closed until December 22 for “development works to be carried out on behalf of BCP Council”.

Full emergency services access will be maintained and access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

The statement added: “These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.

“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.”
