Welcome to Bournemouth’s Hurn Airport back in the 1960s with the Air Ferry Vehicles Embarkation Park and the wooden building that served as the Passenger Reception.
The airport opened as RAF Hurn in 1941 and was transferred to civil control in 1944 with Palmair commencing flights to Majorca in October 1958.
The terminal building that you see today at Bournemouth Airport cost £45 million and was completed in 2011.
