ALTHOUGH Christchurch has a traditional old British town feel to it, it also packs a modern edge.
With its fashionable shops in the High Street, Saxon Square Shopping Centre, and contemporary bars and restaurants, the blend of old and new can be seen and felt around every corner.
Having been historically within the county of Hampshire, the town became part of Dorset in 1974 along with the reorganisation of local government.
