SPRINGBOURNE Fire Station have reiterated their fire safety message after being called to deal with a "large, unattended bonfire" in Bournemouth.
Firefighters were contacted about a fire on Milton Road at 8.38pm on Saturday November 13.
One fire crew attended the incident and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire that had re-ignited from an earlier controlled bonfire.
A spokesman from the fire service said: “One crew from Springbourne was called to Milton Road, Bournemouth at 8.38pm on Saturday November 13 to deal with a large, unattended bonfire.
“One hose reel jet was used to extinguish, and the stop was at 9.17pm.
“To prevent reignition or fire spread, please ensure bonfires are fully extinguished before leaving them.”
