A SERIES of festive fundraising will be held across the Christmas period in aid of a Dorset disability charity.
Vital funds will be raised for Diverse Abilities throughout December with a carol concert, tree collection service and more.
Christmas Treecycling returns across the weekend of January 8 to 10 where the charity can collect your Christmas tree and dispose of it sustainably for a suggested donation of £10.
Emma Bovey, fundraising manager at Diverse Abilities, said: “As one of our most important fundraising events of the year, Treecycling makes a huge impact on the amount of vital funds we raise each and every year for the children and adults we support.”
The charity’s carol concert also returns this year, taking place at St. Peter’s Church, Bournemouth, on Wednesday, December 15, from 6pm. The event will feature guest speakers Valerie Singleton OBE and Maggie from this year’s series of The Great British Bake Off.
The charity has also re-opened its online Christmas store selling a selection of Christmas jumpers, cards, and decorations all designed by the children and adults supported by the charity.
