EACH year hundreds of young singers would take to the stage for the annual Poole Schools’ Music Association Christmas Concert.
Youngsters aged from eight to 18-years-old from more than a dozen local schools performed to packed venues with a combined orchestra from multiple secondary schools.
Pupils sang a range of festive hits for the concert, which was organised by and in aid of the Poole Schools Music Association.
These pictures were taken almost 20 years ago during a rehearsal for the concert at Wessex Hall on December 6, 2001.
The annual concert ran for more than 20 years and was the main fundraiser for the association which promoted music in Poole’s schools all year round.
