A MAN has been hit with a court bill of more than £2,000 for a breach of Covid rules at Poole Quay.
Martin James Turner was prosecuted in relation to a gathering of two or people he took part in on February 26 when the country was in a lockdown.
The case against Turner, 39 and of Wimborne Road, Poole, was proved under the single justice procedure, which did not involve him attending court.
He was sentenced by a magistrate sitting in Poole on Friday, October 22, who issued a £1,760 fine.
Turner was also ordered to pay £90 costs and a £176 surcharge.
