FALLEN trees are causing delays of more than an hour-and-a-half in Dorset this morning following the weekend's bad weather.
Sandford Road remains closed today, Monday, November 1, between Morden Road and Organford Road due to ten large fallen Corsican pines.
Arboricultural teams are currently on site clearing the large trees which is expected to take most of the day.

MoreBus have Tweeted to say that there are delays of an hour-and-a-half this morning.
Due to the long diversion on the Route 40 around Sandford / Organford and exceptional levels of traffic we are seeing delays of 1 hour 30 minutes on the service. Please allow extra time for your journey today. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. ^JB

Bursts of heavy rainfall and strong winds battered Dorset across the weekend.
The county and wider south west had a miserable weekend of weather thanks to overnight rain and cold winds which led to fallen trees and flooding.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for the south west last night amid the heavy wind and rain.
The UK’s national weather service predicted that the high winds could "cause travel disruption” and reports of flooding, collapsed trees and power cuts have been reported across Dorset.
No weather warnings have been issued today, Monday, November 1.
