WHETHER you're heading out to a party or taking it easy on the sofa this Halloween weekend - let's take a look at what the weather has in store.

The forecast is looking pretty unsettled for this weekend with plenty of cloud and drizzle about, though the sun will be peeking through at points so it's not all doom and gloom.

With it being Halloween this weekend there are lots of events taking place to sink your teeth into, regardless of the weather so be sure to check them out.

In today's outlook, Friday, October 29, we can expect heavy rain throughout the morning which will change to sunny intervals by the afternoon.

On Saturday things are looking slightly better though rain is forecast for the morning. However, the rain should stay off throughout the evening which is good news for those of us heading out to celebrate Halloween a day early.

The outlook for Sunday is rainy with some sunny spells - again the rain is forecast to dry up by the late afternoon so hopefully it should be a fine evening for trick or treating.
