A CHRISTMAS kitchenware catalogue currently landing on doormats all over the country was designed in Dorset for the 25th year running.

The 186-page Lakeland catalogue was put together by the retailer’s long-standing lead creative agency, CHS.

CHS created the catalogue in collaboration with Lakeland’s in-house marketing team, with responsibility for creative development, page production and photography.

Phil Morris, account director at CHS, said: “It’s always a proud moment for the CHS team when a Lakeland catalogue gets mailed. It’s what both we, and households throughout the nation, have all been waiting for.

“It’s the culmination of months of hard work across the business and we can’t wait for customers to discover all the hidden gems inside.

“2021 also marks 25 years of working with Lakeland – a landmark that as an agency we’re excited to shout about.

“We work in an industry where agency-client relationships typically come and go. So to reach such a milestone speaks volumes of the level of work we achieve together.

“Our dedicated team has done a fantastic job of bringing this new festive concept to life.

“Whilst it’s been a difficult year for many, injecting some Christmas magic into our homes this December should be the perfect way to bring 2021 to a close.”

The companies began working together in 1996 and the Christchurch agency was also tasked with implementing Lakeland’s new campaign, The Secret to Christmas Magic. The campaign theme runs through printed catalogues and Lakeland’s retail, social and digital content.

Lakeland, founded in the early 1960s, is still a family-owned business.

CHS employs more than 60 people in Christchurch, offering services including catalogue production, strategic planning, branding and integrated campaigns that combine videography, photography, direct marketing, web design and advertising.

It is based at Mill Road, Christchurch, with a photography studio at the town’s Sea Vixen Industrial Estate.
