A BUS firm chief has slammed the behaviour of youths who were hanging onto the back of a service in Bournemouth.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident on the evening of Wednesday, October 13, in Cunningham Crescent, West Howe.
As reported, the anti-social behaviour involved the group of youths targeting a Morebus.
Richard Wade, Morebus general manager, said: “I am aware of recent reports that youths have been hanging onto the back of a Morebus vehicle whilst it was operating in the West Howe area of Bournemouth. Our driver was unaware of the incident at the time.
“Thankfully nobody sustained injuries, but this kind of stunt is extremely dangerous, and is putting not only the offender at risk but also other innocent members of the public.
“Buses are equipped with CCTV, which we will use to identify anyone behaving in this manner - and any footage will be passed on to the police.”
