Two-hour Halloween bushcraft special on Studland

Embrace autumn by taking part in one of these family bushcraft sessions for children aged four and upwards.

There will be special spooky stories and camp crafts during the Halloween period as well as all the usual bushcraft activities.

The sessions will involve several short activities so you can learn skills that you can take away to develop and build on together outdoors.

The family friendly activities include shelter building, tool use and camp crafts, water purification and fire lighting - using different techniques like flint and steel and cooking treats over the fire

The bushcraft sessions cost £20 per person and there is strictly no fancy dress due to it being a fire hazard.

PRIDE: Bournemouth Wedding Show

Heralded as Dorset's first LGBTQ+ wedding show, the event is an open space for all couples to feel comfortable and welcome whilst planning their wedding.

Bournemouth Echo:

The LGBTQ+ wedding show is coming to the BIC on Sunday

The free event is taking place at the Bournemouth International Centre on Sunday, October 24, from midday.

Described as a wedding show where you won't be looking at stands full of marketing material showing the 'typical' bride and groom, this is a place to meet the best Dorset has to offer for your big day and work with suppliers who have worked same-sex weddings for years.
