FRIDAY can only mean one thing – sharing your lovely gardens with the community!
Today we showcase two gardens that have become havens not only for their owners but also for the wildlife that get to enjoy them.
Linda Carlin’s garden in Southbourne is her ‘favourite place on earth’ and the birds, bees and butterflies seem to love it too.
Linda said: “I am never happier than when I'm in my garden. It is my sanctuary and where I go to express my creativity and to make sense of the world.”
Robert Readman’s garden was, until recently, a disused space of rubble and shingle between two buildings.
Transforming the space with pots and raised beds, Robert has turned the space into a blooming oasis filled with flowers, shrubs and veggies. He said: “The great thing is the wildlife that it attracts - a 'dead' space has been brought to life.”
Email three or more pictures and relevant information to nicole.baddeley@newsquest.co.uk to see your garden appear in print and online.
Show off your glorious Dorset garden
We'd love you to send up photographs of your garden - anything from a window box to an allotment, telling us who you are and what area/town you live in for our 'Over the Garden Fence' feature.
