A MAN has appeared in court after being caught drink driving twice in the space of three days.

Dominic Ashley Robert Young, 30, was in the dock in relation to offences committed in Ferndown and Poole this summer.

Poole Magistrates' Court heard that Young was at the wheel of a vehicle in Whittles Way, Poole, on June 30 with 117 micrograms of alcohol.

Then on July 2 he was driving in Ringwood Road, Ferndown, on July 2 with 95 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath and using the vehicle without insurance.

When he was in the dock on October 1, Young, of Wimborne Road West, Ferndown, was sentenced having pleaded guilty to two counts of drink driving and one count of using a motor vehicle without insurance.

Magistrates handed the defendant a 12-month community order with a requirement to complete up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

Young was also fined £115, ordered to pay a £95 surcharge and £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 28 months.
