The Blandford Group Practice have thanked residents for their cooperation and support following a “difficult week” at the treatment centre.
The GP’s surgery were forced to suspend non-urgent appointments on Tuesday October 12 due to “a lapse in public liability insurance”.
But 48 hours later, it was confirmed that the insurance error was resolved, and appointments resumed yesterday, with the practice prioritising those who have had appointments postponed during the closure.

The doctor’s surgery have recognised the “support and positive feedback” from the community as they reopened their doors on Friday morning.
In a statement uploaded to their social media site, The Blandford Group Practice said: “Everyone at The Blandford Group Practice would like to say a huge thank you for all of the support and positive feedback we have received over the last 24 hours following our temporary closure earlier this week.
“When we reopened the doors this morning, we were unsure what to expect.
“However, the vast majority of people have been extremely understanding, recognising the tremendous effort involved in returning to normal services as quickly as we could.
“It has been a difficult week for everyone at the Practice and the kind comments have been really appreciated by the entire team.”
