RUNNERS lit up the night along Bournemouth seafront on Saturday evening.
Hundreds of runners donned bright clothing, tutus, head torches and lights for the Supernova 5k.
Youngsters and adults took part in the event which closed day one of the Bournemouth Run festival.

Earlier in the day, children took part in a number of races including the Kids' Kilometre, 1.5k, 2k and Junior 5k.
This was followed by the Supersonic 5K for adults on Saturday afternoon.

More than 7,000 people are taking part in various races across the weekend.
Day two of the event on Sunday sees the Supersonic 10k and Bournemouth Half Marathon take place.
