FOUR fire crews were called out to Shaftesbury yesterday evening after reports of a fire at a property on Longmead.
Firefighters reported to the commercial property in the town at 6.46pm on Saturday October 2 and crews spent almost three hours extinguishing the blaze and dampening down the affected area.
Crews from Shaftesbury, Gillingham and Blandford attended the incident, and the stop was finally called at 9.37pm.
A spokesperson from the fire service said: “Four fire engines attended a fire inside a cooking fat oxidiser at a commercial property in Longmead, Shaftesbury.
Two breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a thermal image camera were used to monitor and fire crews remained on site until 9.37pm.”
