FOUR fire crews rushed to Poole Hospital after reports of an electrical smell and smoke in one of the labs.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly after 6pm on Sunday evening of the incident.
A spokesperson said: “We were called to Poole Hospital at 6.15pm yesterday evening following reports of an electrical smell and smoke in one of the labs.
“Crews from Poole, Hamworthy, Springbourne and the aerial ladder platform from Westbourne attended.
“The unit producing the smoke was isolated but no firefighting action was necessary – the stop came at 6.58pm.”
