CHRISTCHURCH theme park Adventure Wonderland have announced the return of their festive pantomime production this Christmas.

Following the sell-out success of their Covid secure Father Christmas experience in 2020, Adventure Wonderland are delighted to bring The Santa Show back by popular demand with a brand new adventure for 2021!

The Santa Show will be held inside the parks Happydrome Theatre, with other festive offering available at the theme park.

“We are thrilled to be bringing song, snow and sparkle back to Adventure Wonderland this Christmas,” said entertainments manager Andy Brennan.

“We created The Santa Show last year at a time when traditional grottos were not permitted by government guidelines, but it was so popular, we’ve decided to bring it back so our guests can see Santa live on stage.

“The bonus this year is that we can include indoor play and crazy golf as part of the ticket. It really is a full day of festive fun.”

Guests can enjoy the 30-minute magical, musical performance where a cast of talented elves will sing, dance entertain audiences.

The show culminates in a finale featuring Father Christmas, and there’s even a souvenir gift for every child.

A visit to Adventure Wonderland this Christmas also includes unlimited use of Wild Thing, a huge Aztec themed indoor play centre at the theme park.

Guests can also enjoy a game of crazy golf at the recently launched Alice at the Movies and, a new addition for 2021, children can get arty in the brand-new Christmas craft area.

The Christmas Experience: Panto, Play, Putt and Create is available at Adventure Wonderland every Saturday and Sunday from November 20 and from December 18 to December 23.

Tickets are on sale now, and last year’s event sold out so early booking is recommended.
