THREE fire crews have isolated the power to a building in Bournemouth after water was used to clean plug sockets.
Crews from Christchurch, Springbourne and Westbourne Fire Services attended a building in Christchurch Road at approximately 7.45pm.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “We have isolated the electricity to a building in Bournemouth after being called to a possible kitchen fire.
“This was a false alarm believed to be caused by the cleaning of plug sockets with water.”
Crews have since stood down.
