A MAN has been arrested by detectives investigating a report of a sexual assault outside Cameo nightclub in Bournemouth.
The victim – a woman aged in her 20s – was sexually assaulted by a man outside the nightclub in Fir Vale Road at around 4.45am on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
As part of ongoing enquiries, detectives from Bournemouth CID took part in an appeal on the BBC One show Crimewatch Live on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Following the appeal, a 24-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and is currently assisting detectives with their investigation.
