A YOUTUBE star has visited Sandbanks and Bournemouth to share the beauties of our coast with people who can no longer get here.

Tim Lindon from Norwich started his YouTube channel, Walk With Me Tim, in lockdown last year.

Living by the coast himself he decided to film his walks to share his love of the British seaside with everyone.

Since then his videos have gone down a storm and the YouTube sensation has amassed more than three million views worldwide.

His most recent videos shine a spotlight on Bournemouth and Sandbanks, a place that “holds a special place” in Tim’s heart.

He said: “My grandparents used to live in Sandbanks and I spent many summers there as a child.

“Some of my fondest memories are from there and I’ve had the best times of my life in Bournemouth.”

Tim, who works as both a YouTuber and body double - most recently appearing in EastEnders with his partner - previously spent 12 years as a radio host before being made redundant at the start of the pandemic.

With the perfect amount of charisma and confidence, Tim’s videos transport viewers to a variety of seaside locations either through live tours or pre-recorded clips.

Tim’s Sandbanks video takes viewers along Millionaire's Row stopping off outside Harry Redknapp's former home and along the beach using a mix of handheld and drone shots.

On his whistle-stop two-day tour of Bournemouth and Poole Tim also stopped off at our iconic Bournemouth Pier and town centre for another video and live.

During the live video viewers from across Britain, and even as far as America, stopped by to share their memories of our beloved seaside town.

One person shared how they had previously lived in Bournemouth for four years before their partner sadly passed away - the commenter thanked Tim for taking him on a walk down memory lane.

Tim said: “I love making these videos and I absolutely love the British seaside.

“When people share their memories and say that I’ve helped to transport them to a special place, it really means a lot.

“I just hope I can continue bringing a smile to people’s faces.”
