FREE nasal flu vaccines are being offered to children in a drive-through service today in Verwood.
The Cranborne Practice in Lake Road, Verwood has offered the vaccine to children ages 2-17 from 1.30pm to 5pm via a text message.
The text comes with a request for parents or guardians to complete a ‘consent to childhood immunisations’ form online.
Appointments will be spaced apart to minimise traffic congestion on the site.
A spokesperson said: “Children 2-17 years who are immunosuppressed or live with someone who is immunosuppressed qualify for a flu vaccine injection instead of the nasal spray. Please contact us if your child is eligible for us to make arrangements for them to receive this vaccine.”
