POLICE have launched a public appeal to locate a 27-year-old Bournemouth woman who has gone missing.

Officers searching for Rachel Jones say that she was “upset” during her last contact with family and are appealing for help to find her.

She was last seen at around 9.10am on Monday September 13, 2021, in Ensbury Avenue. She was in contact with family at around 9.20am, but has not been seen or heard from since.

Rachel is described as white, five feet eight inches tall and with long mousy brown hair with a bit of faded purple. She was last seen wearing a black hooded top, black leggings, trainers and glasses.

Chief Inspector Andy Bell, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand that Rachel was upset when she was last in contact with her family and we are keen to locate her to ensure she is safe and well.

“Officers are carrying out searches of the area and would urge anyone with information about Rachel’s whereabouts to please get in touch.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct appeal to Rachel if you see this – please contact us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to make sure that you are safe.”
