ONE woman from Dorset has scooped the top prize on a National Lottery instant win game.

The mystery winner, known only as Ms K, won £300,000 on ‘Jewel Smasher’.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at the National Lottery, congratulated the lucky prizewinner.

He said: “Huge congratulations to Ms. K for winning this fantastic prize - she has instantly become three hundred thousand pounds richer.

“We’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets online at national-lottery.co.uk or by downloading the National Lottery app, and to buy or check their tickets in retail in line with government guidance."

Interactive winners have the opportunity to remain anonymous, as with Ms K, with the only detail released being the winnings and that she hails from Dorset.

The Jewel Smash instant win game costs £3 to play with numerous prizes available, including the £300,000 jackpot.

The National Lottery raises an average of £30m every week for their good causes across the UK, with more than £42bn raised and distributed since its inception.
