POLICE are on the hunt for a group of men seen on CCTV trying the door handles of properties in East Dorset.
At 1.10am on September 5 in Wimborne Road East, a man was captured on CCTV trying the handle of a property.
He was wearing a hooded zip up jacket and when he noticed the doorbell camera at the property, he tried to cover it with his hand before quickly leaving.
Then, at 11.27pm on the same day, two men in their early 20s were seen trying the handles to homes in Pinehurst Road.
PCSO Adam Fitzwalter said: “ I am appealing to residents to please check your home CCTV cameras if you live in or near to these roads at the times mentioned to see whether you may have captured any images of these males. We would like to establish their identity.
“Fortunately, the doors to the homes we know they have been to have been locked and they have walked away. Please review your home security regularly.
