POLICE have arrested a 29-year-old man after investigating reports of drug-related activity.

Officers from Ringwood Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a warrant at a property in Winston Way, Ringwood, at 8am today.

A police spokesman said: "Officers searched the premises and located a quantity of Class A drugs, which were seized.

"A 29-year-old man from Ringwood has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and two counts of assaulting an emergency service worker.

"He remains in custody at this time.

"Information we receive from the community is vital and informs where we put our resources and take action against any illegal activity."
