POLICE confiscated powerful catapults and ball bearings from three teenagers following reports of shooting towards birds in Bournemouth.
The youths were caught shooting towards birds outside of Knighton Heath Golf Club on Wednesday, August 25.

Three teenage boys, one aged 13 and two 14-year-olds, were spoken to and their details were taken - no arrests have been made.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Please be aware - these are not toys and are seen as offensive weapons not to be possessed or used in public and as such could lead to a criminal investigation."
