HOMES are without power this morning after a fire involving an electrical installation which caused a “loud bang”.
Two fire crews from Poole were called to the incident in Old Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen, at 7.07am.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said engineers are on their way, but nearby homes have lost power.
The fire service advised said the outage could last for several hours.
Crews are still in attendance at the scene of the fire, which is ongoing.
