A MAN has appeared in court accused of causing the death of another man by driving dangerously.
Dumitru Radu, 27 and of no fixed abode, also faces a second charge of causing death by careless driving when under the influence of alcohol.
The allegations relate to the death of Colin Lazenbury following a reported crash in West Cliff Road, Bournemouth, on May 26, 2019.
Motorcyclist Mr Lazenbury, 54 and from Bournemouth, died in hospital on July 14, 2019.
Radu appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 13.
He did not enter a plea to the charges and was remanded into custody by the bench.
The case was sent up to Bournemouth Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing, which is due to take place on September 13.
