A MAN has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted rape and sexual assault in relation to an alleged incident in Bournemouth.
Deividas Zilinskas, aged 23, is accused of committing the sex attack on a young woman in the Charminster area in the early hours of Wednesday, July 7.
Zilinskas, of Coleman Road, Bournemouth, appeared before Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday, August 16, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The defendant entered not guilty pleas to both charges.
No trial date was set at the hearing. The case is due to be transferred to another crown court for the trial.
Judge Brian Forster QC remanded the defendant into custody ahead of further court hearings.
