TWO teenagers have been arrested following a hit-and-run incident in Bournemouth in the early hours of this morning.

Officers spotted a vehicle seen to be “acting suspiciously” on Holdenhurst Avenue at 1am on August 16.

It is reported that the car, which contained three individuals, had crashed into three parked cars in the area earlier the same evening.

The two arrested teenagers were taken to hospital for further treatment, but one of the culprits fled the scene.

A police spokesman said: “At around 1am on Monday August 16, officers noticed a vehicle reported to be acting suspiciously on Holdenhurst Avenue in Bournemouth.

“The police car followed the vehicle until it reached Green Road. It was reported that the vehicle was involved in a collision with three parked cars along the road.

“It is alleged that three men left the vehicle and one of them made off from officers.

“Two 15-year-old boys were arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and taken to hospital for treatment. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.”
