POLICE officers refuelling at a north Dorset petrol station were in the right place at the right time to catch a youth who had climbed on top of the canopy.
Officers were filling up a traffic car yesterday evening at the BP 24-hour petrol station on Yeovil Road in Sherborne when they were alerted to the anti-social behaviour incident.
The youth was given 'words of advice' by officers after being brought down to safety.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "While refuelling the traffic car, we were called to reports of a person on the roof of the petrol station being antisocial.
"We’ve got the young person down from the canopy and given words of advice about acceptable behaviour."
