EMERGENCY services were called to an incident involving two people who had been pulled from the water at Avon beach, Christchurch.
A spokesperson from Southbourne Coastguard said: “At approx. 4.20pm yesterday (6 August), HM Coastguard received reports of two people in difficulty in the water at Avon Beach.”
The casualties were given medical care by the lifeguards on the beach and Southbourne CRT were sent.
South Western Ambulance Service attended the scene shortly after and the casualties were passed over for further assessment and treatment.
