A WOMAN suffered a head injury after being repeatedly pushed over by another woman in Bournemouth.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which unfolded on the pavement near Star Stores, Charminster Avenue, around 2.15pm on Thursday, July 29.
Dorset Police say it was reported that the victim, a woman aged in her 50s, was pushed her over a number of times by the other woman – causing her to hit her head on the ground.
She suffered a head injury, but did not require hospital treatment.
Police Constable Chris Burt said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this assault and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to please come forward.
"I am particularly keen to speak to two female members of the public, believed to be mother and daughter, who stopped in a passing car to assist the victim and walked her back to her home address."
