THE BIG screen is returning to Bournemouth and Poole to show a range of Olympic sporting events and family-friendly films.
BCP Council's Festival Coast Live will be hosting the outdoor film screenings over the next four weeks.
The screen will be located in different places each week including Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens, Ashley Cross, Poole and Poole Park.
During the day viewers will be able to watch highlights from the Olympics and Paralympics from 10am to 3pm.
This week the giant screen will be in the Lower Gardens in Bournemouth and will also be showing the following films:
Thursday 5 August: Finding Dory (3.15pm), Hairspray (7pm)
Friday 6 August: The Little Mermaid (3.15pm), Mary Poppins Returns (7pm)
Saturday 7 August: Frozen Singalong (3.15pm), ET (7pm)
Sunday 8 August: Moana (3.15pm), Casablanca (7pm)
Festival coast live is a summer of activities across the conurbation designed to help businesses, community organisations, clubs and performers bounce back following the coronavirus lockdowns.
The festival will include pop-up events by local performers and will highlight the diverse spectacle of events and activities that happen each year, including Bournemouth Air Festival, Christchurch's Stompin' on the Quomps, and Poole Quay Fireworks.
