TWO splash parks in Bournemouth and Poole have finally reopened after maintenance issues.
The paddling pool facilities at Redhill Park and Hamworthy Park had their opening pushed back by council officers.
As reported, both sites had been closed for more than a year due to the government's Covid-19 guidelines.
New parts were ordered by BCP Council to address issues with both the water quality and pump mechanisms.
At the start of last week, Cllr Mark Anderson, portfolio holder for environment, said the local authority would not know if the systems were working properly until the parts had been installed.
Providing an update to the Daily Echo this week, a BCP Council spokeswoman said both parks opened on Monday, August 2.
