A LIBRARY in the New Forest has partnered with two armed forces charities to launch a new space for army veterans.
The new Veterans Hub at Ringwood Library opens on Thursday, August 5 and has been launched in partnership with the Armed Forces Covenant Trust and Models for Heroes.
The hub will offer “companionship, activities, information, advice and of course, plenty of tea.”
Taking place every Thursday between 2pm and 4pm, “all army veterans [are] welcomed for a friendly chat about what [they] would like the hub to offer.”
Models for Heroes, who support the use of model making hobbies within former and current Armed Forces personnel, have supplied scale models and equipment for visitors to use.
