THE A338 Spur Road is closed northbound following a "very serious" crash.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on the main road out of Bournemouth.
Police have closed the road at Blackwater following the crash further up the road before Ashley Heath.
Traffic is being diverted onto the B3073 Christchurch Road towards Hurn, with vehicles able to use Matchams Lane to get to the A31.

A Dorset Police car is blocking off the northbound on-slip at Blackwater, while a second marked vehicle is positioned in the middle of the carriageway to ensure traffic complies with the road closure.
