WHICH right-minded host invites thousands of guests to their party, begs them to spend their money and then treats them with total contempt when they accept your offer.
Provide ample parking, provide park and ride, provide entertainment?
NO, wait till they’re stuck and frustrated then issue 700 penalty notices and even threaten to tow their car away.
The council have known for ages how many visitors can be expected, surely it’s a simple task to provide temporary parking or park and ride.
Why not look at other locations where mass gathering events are held successfully.
Try turning the Sandbanks peninsula into a free temporary car park instead of setting jobsworth’s in hi-vis vests and cash collection machines loose on our guests. Planning, you are having a larf.
