CHANGES could be under way for two Bournemouth Wimborne Road sites.
Planning consent is being sought for a new restaurant and takeaway and, on another site, currently used for advertising boards, for a three-storey block of flats.
The new restaurant, with take-away, could be created by the change of use of an existing shop at the corner of 313 Wimborne Road and Crimea Road, with five flats proposed for another site adjacent to 981 Wimborne Road.
Documents submitted to the BCP planning team for the change of use application for the restaurant say that four full-time jobs would be created, if the application were allowed. The building would only see minor changes to the exterior.
The other Wimborne Road application is also a corner site, at the junction with Malvern Road, and has been submitted by High Profile Properties UK. The land was previously used for billboard advertising and is a triangular site of 0.2 hectares.
Developers says they want to put up the three-storey brick building for five 1-bed flats with space on the site for a cycle and bin store.
Both applications, which can be viewed on the BCP website, are currently open for comments.
